Competitive Teams

Seven teams, one standard. Cadets can compete in armed and unarmed drill, color guard, raider/athletics, academics, air rifle, and orienteering.

Armed Regulation Drill Team

The Armed Drill Team performs regulation and exhibition drill while carrying drill rifles, moving as one unit through practiced sequences.

The Unarmed Drill Team performs regulation and exhibition drill without rifles, relying on crisp manual movements and formations.

Presenting the colors with honor.

The Color Guard presents the national and state colors at school, district, and community events.

The Raider/Athletic Team takes on physical challenge events such as obstacle courses, rope bridge, and team runs.

Naval science knowledge and rapid recall.

The Academic Team answers written and buzzer-style questions covering naval science, math, science, and current events.
