What Regulation Drill Is
Regulation drill is the scored execution of standard military movements — facing movements, manual movements, and formation changes — called by a commander under a fixed sequence. Unarmed regulation grades the unit on interval, alignment, cadence, and snap without a rifle in hand, so every movement depends on timing and bearing alone. Cadets rehearse the same sequence until it is automatic, so the platoon moves as one on the drill deck.
