Uniforms and required equipment are issued at no cost. There is an annual NJROTC activity fee, paid online through Humble ISD RevTrak. Optional trips or events may have additional fees.

Cadets wear the uniform on the designated uniform day each week and for special events, ceremonies, and inspections.

Cadets are strongly encouraged to be on at least one team. There are teams for drill, color guard, athletics/Raider, orienteering, air rifle, and academics — most practice after school.

Can I be in NJROTC and play sports or be in band?

Yes. Many cadets participate in athletics, band, and other activities alongside NJROTC.

What is morning and afternoon colors?

What is Wreaths Across America?

It is the unit's main fundraiser and a remembrance ceremony where cadets lay wreaths on the graves of fallen service members. Each cadet is encouraged to sell 15 wreaths.

What is AMI?

The Annual Military Inspection is a required yearly inspection where NJROTC leadership evaluates the unit's uniforms, drill, knowledge, and records. Families are encouraged to attend.
