Regulation Drill
What Regulation Drill Is
Regulation drill is the scored execution of standard military movements — manual of arms, facing movements, and formation changes — called by a commander under a fixed sequence. Armed regulation adds the drill rifle: manual of arms sequences, inspection arms, and rifle spins are graded for timing, interval, and bearing. Cadets rehearse the same sequence until it is automatic, so that on the drill deck the unit moves as one.
